The DRX 9000 is the world's most advanced true non surgical spinal decompression system available in the world. The FDA has cleared the DRX 9000 to treat herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease and posterior facet syndromes. Research and doctors have reported a high success rate in treating these conditions and helping patients alleviate their debilitating back pain, sciatica and other symptoms caused by these conditions.
Lumbar Decompression
To start the treatment, you will be fitted with two harnesses. One harness will go around your waist, and the other will go around your upper body. Your provider will then enter your information into the DRX 9000 operating system. You will then step onto the platform of the DRX 9000 and be reclined to a flat and comfortable position. Custom DRX 9000 pillows will be placed below your knees and your head for added comfort. A belt from the DRX 9000 tower will connect with the harness that's around your waist. Your upper body harness will be secured to the top of the bed. You'll be given a safety switch to hold onto during treatment if you want to stop the treatment at any given time. The therapist will then enter the disk level being treated into the DRX 9000.
The beauty of the DRX 9000 is that it can automatically change and target a specific disk level by changing the angle of pull that is predetermined by the machine. For example, if you have a disc herniation at L5/S1, the DRX 9000 can specifically target that disk level. The same is true if you have degenerative disc disease at L2/L3. The DRX 9000 can also specifically target that disk level. Targeting a specific disk level in your spine is just one of many features that make the DRX 9000 highly effective. The treatment will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
During your treatment, the DRX 9000 will pull utilizing the logarithmic curve. The logarithmic curve sets up the natural circumstance for your disc to heal itself. To ensure that it's being delivered consistently, the DRX 9000 adjusts itself 13 times per second, providing a precise treatment throughout. During the treatment, you can listen to music on your noise-canceling headset. Or you can watch a video of your choice.
After the treatment is complete, you will be disconnected from the DRX 9000 and be gently reclined up. After you step off the machine, you may be asked to walk a short distance with the harnesses on. This is to allow your back muscles to reengage before taking the harnesses off of you. After the treatment, your provider may do interferential treatment along with ice therapy.
Cervical Decompression
The DRX 9000 cervical system is designed and proven to be highly effective in treating herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, and posterior facet syndrome without the use of any drugs, surgery, or any other invasive procedures. The DRX 9000 is the world's first and only dedicated cervical system that the FDA has cleared. Before your treatment, your provider will enter your information into the DRX 9000 cervical computer. To begin your treatment, you step onto the stool and lay down on the comfortable DRX 9000 bed. Some providers may have you standing on the DRX 9000 platform and then gently recline you back. You will place your head into the DRX 9000 cervical headrest while a custom DRX 9000 knee pillow is placed underneath your knees. There are four different size head cushions. Your provider will fit you with the most appropriate headrest based on your size. Your provider will then secure your head to the headrest by placing a strap across your forehead. The handle to the headrest will be connected to the DRX 9000 tower. The provider will select the angle and amount of pull based on the disk level in your neck or cervical region that we are targeting for treatment. The beauty of having the world's first and only cervical dedicated nonsurgical spinal decompression machine is that it operates on a dedicated cervical tower. This tower allows us to target the disk levels in your cervical spine. Once you are secured to the headrest, a belt from the tower will be attached.
You will be given a safety switch to hold onto in the event that you want to stop the treatment at any time. The treatment for your cervical spine typically consists of 20 sessions done over a six week period. Most providers will have you come in three times a week for six weeks. The session is approximately 30 minutes long and is typically pain-free. In fact, most patients fall asleep during treatment.
